The Kyoto Serissa has single, white, trumpet-shaped flowers that commonly appear several times a year. This tree has become the most popular in the serissa family because of its low maintenance and easy indoor care. 8 years old. 6" - 7" tall.

Ligustrum-Medium (ligustrum lucidum)

Okinawa Holly - Small (malphigia coccigera )

This delightful miniature holly which also produces small, pink flowers in spring and summer is native to the northern hemisphere. Its small, glossy, serrated evergreen leaves provide year round interest and make it a good candidate for bonsai treatment. The Okinawa mini holly is a robust and easy-to-care-for indoor tree. 4 years old 5" tall

Pyracantha Firethorn - Exposed Roots (Coccinea (Lalandii˜)

The Pyracantha is an Asian evergreen which is also called Firethorn. It has an abundance of white blossoms in spring and is loaded with beautiful orange-red berries on spurs along the wood of the previous yearªs growth in autumn. The berries are often used in wreathes and centerpieces, as most berries last until late winter. Keep outdoors. 15 years old 12" - 14" tall

Surinam Cherry - Large (eugenia uniflora)

The Surinam Cherry is a sub-tropical evergreen with dark green ovate leaves formed in pairs. Striking red exfoliating (flaking) bark. In spring, may bear small white flowers which is followed by red edible fruit. Popular landscape tree in the southern part of the USA. Ours are trained in the ever popular bonsai style. Does well indoors. 9 years old 13" - 16" tall

Japanese Wisteria (wisteria floribunda)

This delightful wisteria we've all admired on a pergola or arbor has now been trained into a classic tree form. With its shiny, bright green foliage which falls in the autumn, and fragrant pea-like purple flowers dangling in clusters, this bonsai tree is a magnificent show stopper when in bloom. Available 12 months a year. Will have no foliage during winter months. 5 years old 21" - 25" tall

Jaboticaba - Large (eugenia cauliflora)

Native to southern Brazil the Jaboticaba, pronounced in five (5) syllables just as it is spelled, is a member of the Myrtle family and relative of the Guava. The botanical name "Cauliflora" means that it flowers and bears fruit on the trunk and mature branches. During it's flowering period the tree is covered in clusters of small white flowers all over the trunk and branches. These eventually develop into dark berries, which are sometimes sold in delicatessens. The kernels of the fruits can be grown as bonsai which make pretty indoor trees. The bark has a habit of peeling off in curls as the trunk and branches expand. Easy indoor care. 12 years old 13" - 16" tall

Flowering Plum - Extra Large (carissa macrocarpa)

The Natal Plum is a semi-tropical evergreen, bearing fragrant, star-shaped white flowers and following pollination, dark red edible plum-shaped fruit. Easy indoor care. 10 years old 14" - 16" tall

Brush Cherry - Small (eugenia myrtifolia)

Barbados Cherry-Medium (Malpighia Pendiculata)

Native to St. Croix, Trinidad and Curacao. The name Malpighia is used to honor Marcello Malpighia (1628-1693). He was a distinguished naturalist in Bologna, Italy. The natural form of the Barbados Cherry is Pendulous with weeping twigs and branches. The flowers are rose-pink, often several together in a cyme. Its fruit is small and edible. It has a weeping growth habit if the branches are allowed to elongate. The round edible fruits are borne singly or in 2s or 3s and are bright red with glossy skin. The fruit is very juicy and extremely high in ascorbic acid. Great indoor bonsai. 7 years old 7" - 9" tall

Lavender Star Flower (Grewia Occidentalis)

Small evergreen tree 6ª-10ª tall, native to Africa and Australia with 400 species worldwide. Awesome purple/mauve 1" wide flowers borne along the stem at the end of spring and then, occasionally, the rest of the year. Good indoors. Provide some sun to help generate blooms. 8 years old 10" tall.

Flowering Crabapple (Malus Sargenti)

Flowering crabapples are one of the best flowering trees for bonsai. They produce beautiful +" white, fragrant flowers covering the entire tree in early spring before the foliage appears. The foliage is really small and lobed. Little green pomes (apples) appear in summer, derived from the enlargement of the entire flower receptacle which becomes fleshy. The fruit ripens to all different colors in the fall when the foliage begins to turn to shades of yellow, orange and red. Winter brings a nice twiggy skeletal outline punctuated by the fruit which persists throughout the winter. They are easy to grow and quite pest and disease resistant. Deciduous. Keep outdoors. Available 12 months a year. Will have no foliage during winter months. 11 years old 13 - 15" tall

Dwarf Pomegranate - Large (Punica Granatum)

Sub-tropical decideous tree grown for its brilliant orange-red trumpet-like flowers followed in fall by ornamental, small, spherical-like orange-red fruits. Has dark green leaves with shades of bronze. Slow to moderate grower. Full sun. 5 years old 12" tall

Native to East Africa and relative of the Plumeria. Small succulent tree that grows only about 8ª tall in the wild, has fleshy leaves and forms a very bulbous base. Produces exotic 2" pink and white, open-trumpet shaped flowers throughout the year in full sun. Needs little water during winter. All plant nuts love these. 8 years old 12" tall
